Jess. 14 . Sagittarius. Here's a bibliophilic girl living in the corner of England. I love rain and rain loves me back.

Hi this is a tutorial of how I made my “Through the years” graphics, requested by anon.

So we start off by removing the background which you could learn here. Set the brightness, curves etc. Grab your eraser and set it to “Natural Brushes 2”. (This brush is very useful I always use it and you don’t have to download it. It’s part of the pack, I think)
After that, create a new layer on top of your photo, and create a clipping mask. If you don’t know how to create a clipping mask, then right click your layer, and select ‘Create Clipping Mask’

Rename that layer to anything you want, or you could just leave it as is, but anyway this will be the layer where we’ll colour Lily’s hair. So grab your brush, and select the colour you want and start colouring the hair. It should look something like this

Do it to all the other parts of the photo, BUT ALL IN SEPARATE LAYERS. You should end up with something like this

Lily looks like an unemployed woman wearing ugly sweatpants but whatever my graphics rock

When done,SET ALL THE LAYERS TO ‘MULTIPLY’.If you’re doing the right thing, you’ll end up with this

You might want to set the base photo’s opacity to 80% or sth like that, so it’s not too dark.

We’re actually done. You can add more effects on her face WHICH Y’ALL CAN LEARN HERE

For the background, I used THIS, and set it to MULTIPLY and the opacity to 20%.

To add more effect, I got THIS texture and set it to Linear Burn, and also changed the Color Balance. Press CTRL + J to copy the texture. Now the texture copy will go under the base photo, set it to ‘Normal’ and press CTRL + U to set the saturation low. Your layers would look like these

AND WITH ALL THAT, YOU’LL HAVE THIS

well, without the JESS part anyway
